RESUME

This section contains general information about the business plan. The resume forms an impression about the whole project, so it is always browsed by the potential investors. It will contain a brief summary of systematic information, and give answers to urgent questions of investors - the name and purpose of the project, the time period of implementation, investment, loan terms, repayment guarantees, the amount of own funds and others.

CHAPTER 1. MARKET ANALYSIS

 «RICC» Ltd. conducts market analysis that includes: a description of the situation, forecasts and trends in livestock, evaluation of market capacity of beef, an analysis of the competitive environment, analysis and forecast of prices for milk.  

CHAPTER 2 . BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

To compile this part we require information from the Customer:

1. Brief Description: The planned population of dairy cattle, a breed of cows (milk yield, number of lactations of use), the location of farms, the type of technological equipment and its manufacturer

1. Existing resources: space, buildings, power, equipment, personnel
2. Desired goals. For example: achieving a rapid return (capitalization and sale of the project), creating a stable cash flow in the long term (maintenance and management of business), goodwill, etc.

«RICC» Ltd. experts on the basis of received information will schedule the project at the stage of START-UP ( Table 1), through which the calculation of investment costs passes.

In addition to investment costs, the project takes into account also operating costs for maintenance and servicing of the farm. The main items of operating expenses: acquisition and cultivation of food, energy payments, salaries, medicines, fuel and other costs. Mandatory condition is feed crops in the projected farm, hay, silage and grain to feed cattle year-round. It is important to correctly calculate the need for feed and land resources, based on the yields of basic crops and herd structure (see example Table 2).

Income generation in the project is conducted according to routine milking, herd of dairy cows and the cost of milk. Today, the price of milk in Ukraine has a pronounced seasonality.

Livestock planning is a complex process that takes into account the order of acquisition heifers, the percentage of pregnant cows, the percentage of abortion deaths. The new farms by synchronizing achieve uniform herd milk production throughout the year.

Economy of the investment project of dairy commodity farm is based not only on income from milk production. Additional sources of income are the bulls, not involved in commodity production and waste cows, sold in live weight, and heifers of high rocks, grown mainly in the herd. The calculation can be carried out more deeply, taking into account the recycling of manure and use of biogas plant that will provide an opportunity to get electricity for their own use and fertilizer on the fields.
